I bought beautiful bordeaux color gerbera from wholefoods.
We are going to eat dinner outside today!
Heat is not so bad.

I wish hydrangea lasts little bit longer.

This year my husband created a beautiful flower garden at home and I am enjoining to make arrangements using those flowers.

The cherry blossom festival was held in Stamford Mill River Park yesterday.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so nice but it seems like quite a few people showed up for the festival.

I volunteered to make two small ikebana arrangements as a member of the Japan Society of Fairfield County. Top one was for the Japan aid desk and the bottom one was for the sumie table. It was a bit windy outside so the leaves fell down and flowers were moving around in a container...things were falling apart. I guess I need to keep in mind these factors when i make an arrangement for outside display.

a couple weeks ago, when ny weather finally got better, we were invited for a barbecue party.

i love dark red dahlia.
i love lime green flowers.

i combined them together in a clear glass vase as a small gift.

何週間か前ですが、ニューヨーク近郊の天気がやっと夏らしくなった時、お友達のバーベキューパーティーに招待されました。
これまた素晴らしいプール付きのお庭！(;ﾟдﾟ)ｽｺﾞｲ....
私はダークレッドのダリアが大好きです。
ライムグリーンのお花達も大好き。

なので一緒に組み合わせてグラスの花器に生けてプレゼントしました。
